One of the
most important programs that the municipality carries out together with the
owners of housing is the overhaul of the housing stock. The share of funds in
co-financing collected by homeowners has been increasing every year and now
amounts to more than a half. This imposes the corresponding obligations to residents
and customers on us for the time spent for work and for its quality.
Therefore,
the overhaul program is being modernized every year. For example, now the list
of work types is supplemented by the installation of individual heat points.
They will appear at the beginning of the heating season in 1115 apartment
buildings and 165 budgetary institutions. This is a big step forward! There is
a lot of the positive in this program: the water consumption decreases, there
is no need to fix the renovated yards every year to build new networks, and
people begin to save because they won’t need to pour more water, waiting for it
to become hot.
There are a
lot of pluses, so we need to hold meetings with residents and explain it in
those houses where they still have doubts (and we have one in each district).
It is necessary to show advantages of the program on examples.
The main
thing is that we don’t offer something unknown. The program is not new for
Kazan. The pilot project for equipping houses with individual heating points
started in 2012. And as we can see, the experience turned out to be successful.
Wherever it’s implemented, the quality of service for consumers has increased
and its cost has decreased with the same consumption. Now it remains to
establish individual points in other houses so that all Kazan people feel this
improvement.
