Our goal is to provide every remote area of the city
with affordable sports venues. It does not matter if it is a village, Salavat
Kupere microdistrict or Yudino residential area.
Sports facilities are as important as the development
of territories, construction of schools and kindergartens, health facilities.
This contributes to the development of children and teenagers, as well as
promoting a healthy lifestyle for all Kazan residents without exception: young
and professional athletes, and the elderly population.
We strive to increase the number of Kazan residents
who practice sport and lead a healthy lifestyle. This is one of our main tasks
and priorities. We are systematically working to ensure that this number
increases annually.
The city will continue to develop its sports
infrastructure. Today, the capital of Tatarstan has 12 ski bases, 8 ski trails,
18 ice rinks, 78 outdoor hockey rinks, 10 ice arenas, and 3,000 pairs of skates
are available for rent. During the New Year holidays, a large number of
families visited parks and squares, as well as sports venues. Presently, public
spaces are entering into a new stage of development. We will continue to create
the conditions for this. It would be impossible to achieve such results without
development and a systematic approach.
