I. Metshin about changing the transport network in Kazan

The development of a new route network of passenger transport of the city until 2023 began in Kazan. But there is nothing to be frightened of. This is not something absolutely new. The city is growing, developing: the “Salavat Cupere” has grown and the micro-district M-14 has appeared. And the transport network should keep up with these changes. Public transport develops with the city.

Any change is not easy. I remember how the city heavily got rid of the ruined GAZelle vehicles, which drove through Kazan and competed in speed. Now is the time for the next update. We have everything for making a good project that takes into account the interests of Kazan citizens.

There are constant requests for prolongation of one or another route, postponement of the stop and so on at meetings with the population, at citizens' receptions, and in the public reception. It is important to take into account these wishes as much as possible and to work on changes in the dialogue with the population. After all, changing the route network is being implemented for the convenience of citizens. Our task is to prepare a good, well-thought transport network project that will meet the requirements of the future and the daily needs of those who use public transport. We will manage this task with the help of our citizens!
