Applications for the contest have now started. This year, participants can choose from four categories: Best video about Kazan, Best photo work on Kazan tourism, Best article on tourism in Kazan, and Best team video about Kazan. This information was announced by Daria Sannikova, director of the Tourism Development Committee.
Tourists and residents of Kazan over 14 years can submit works about places, events, people or sites of the city that demonstrate the diversity and beauty of Kazan.
“I believe that not only nonresidents should take part in the competition. This is not an issue of prizes. Our dear and respected residents of different ages and districts should also take part and show how they see Kazan, including the sightseeing. We will definitely find words of gratitude for everyone and will definitely award their participation. This is a good competition and it is important to support it,”- said Mayor Ilsur Metshin.
This year, the overall prize fund for the competition is 670,000 rubles. Winners in each category will receive a grant ranging from 50,000 to 150,000 rubles. Additionally, cash prizes will be awarded to participants who took the second and third place.
An online application is available on the provided link until January 15, 2025. Works must also be posted on the VKontakte social network or other platforms using the contest hashtag #LyubovisVkazan2024 (Fall in love with Kazan 2024).
