Ilsur Metshin scores a goal and assistes to Zaripov at the Golden Puck gala match

Ilsur Metshin played in a gala match as the captain of the Tatarstan team at the Golden Puck All-Russian Hockey Festival in Kazan. The Red Stars team competed against the national team.

Russian Sports Minister Oleg Matytsin, Russian State Duma Deputy Ilya Volfson, Tatarstan Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Marat Aizatullin, as well as famous Russian hockey players – Alexey Morozov, Danis Zaripov, Alexey Tereshchenko, Alexander Stepanov, Yevgeny Medvedev and many others took to the ice of the Sports Palace.

The score was opened in the first minute of the meeting. The Mayor of Kazan passed from the middle of the rink to the opponent's goal and made a confident transfer to Danis Zaripov, who scored a goal. Also, the team captain Ilsur Metshin scored a goal in the seventh minute of the last period. The match ended with a score of 8:8.

Before the start of the match, at a solemn ceremony, the Golden Puck flag was handed over to Kazan as the host city of the 2022/2023 Superfinal. “It is a great honor for us to host the Golden Puck Superfinal. All our famous hockey players who continue the glory of Soviet and Russian hockey have participated at this tournament”,- the Mayor said. The flag of the Golden Puck tournament was handed over to the head of the city by the president of the Russian Hockey Federation Vladislav Tretyak.

After the match, Ilsur Metshin and other players talked with sports school students. It is important that we have devoted this day to the development of hockey. The festival has become a great opportunity to meet with the legends of our hockey, - the head of the city said. - We will do everything to ensure that sports in Tatarstan are at a high level, and promote a healthy lifestyle”.
