The winners of the festive races at the Kazan Hippodrome were determined
(KZN.RU, August 30). Day of Kazan and the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan were celebrated today at the Kazan Hippodrome. The winners of the 16 starts were determined, the Kazan citizens honored them with a festive salute.
Holiday races are held in the equestrian center “Kazan” annually. Prior to the event, Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Marat Akhmetov, the deputy prime minister of the RT and the minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, and other guests visited the site. They got acquainted with the agricultural production, presented at the exhibition-fair to the Republic Day, reports the press service of the President of the RT.
The running day №30 (448) began with a race for the prize of the Kazan Hippodrome. The award went to a horse called the God Dream. In the second race, the mare named Mehabbet TN won the prize in honor of the 75th anniversary of the oil of Tatarstan.
The stallion Porthos Amok came to the finish line in the race for the prize of Friendship of Peoples, the mare Zolotaya Maya at won in the race for the prize of the MKSK “Kazan”, and the stallion Zavitok won in the race for the prize of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the RT.
The prize of the Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports of the RT was given to the stallion Next Chapter, the prize of the President of the RT on the results of the race went to the stallion Knyaz Yusupov. The mare Sara won in the race for the cup of PAO “Tatneft”, the mare Dolce Gabbana Ash was the first in the race for the prize “The Golden Crown of Tatarstan”. The prize of the Kazan City Hall went to the stallion Hard Tap, the Cup of the RT to the mare Missis, the stallion Champion won the race for the Cup of the AO “Tatspirtprom”.
The program also included two international races: Wathba Stallions Cup and Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Cup. The prize in the first one went to the stallion Vasilevs, and the second one to the mare Arab Queen, reported the equestrian center “Kazan”.
