Ilsur Metshin met with Gekdeniz Karadeniz
(KZN.RU, May 10). Gusdeniz Karadeniz, an ex-forward of the football club “Rubin”, met with Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan. “Rekhmet, Ilsur Metshin!” (Tat. “Thank you, Ilsur Metshin!”), he signed and posted a joint picture with the Mayor in his Instagram account.
Gekdeniz Karadeniz holds a miniature of the Chasha in the picture, donated by the Mayor of Kazan. Footballer gave the head of the city his T-shirt, in which he played in the “Rubin” as №61. This number was permanently withdrawn from the Kazan football club. On the day of the match between the teams “Rubin” and “Ufa”, the T-shirt with the number 61 was raised under the arches of the “Kazan Arena”.
The meeting between Ilsur Metshin and Gekdeniz Karadeniz took place in the City Hall after the game, which became a test on the eve of the World Cup. At this match, the team and Tatarstan fans said goodbye to Gekdeniz Karadeniz, who completed his football career.
