Ilsur Metshin took part in the V republican Iftar
(KZN.RU, June 16). In the evening of June 15, the V republican Iftar took place in Kazan. It was attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, Mintimer Shaimiev, the State Counselor of the RT, Asgat Safarov, the head of the Office of the President of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Adel Vafin, the Minister of Health of the RT, residents of the republic, and religious figures, including Metropolitan of Kazan and Tatarstan Feofan, and Yitshak Gorelik, the head Rabbi of the Republic.
The event, which was attended by about 10 thousand people, was held on the site of the Kazan Tennis Academy.
The religious event began with the reading of the surah of the Koran. Next, the prayer was read, after which the Iftar took place.
The republican Iftar is held in Tatarstan since 2013.
