The Mayor of Kazan visited the concert of the Tatar song festival “Yзгәреш җиле” (“Wind of Change”), which took place at the Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theater named after M. Jalil. Ilsur Metshin called the show grandiose.
“New arrangements of famous folk songs were presented at the festival “Wind of Change”. Some people probably like the old version but it's better when we have the opportunity to choose. I like the song performed by Ilham Shakirov and Alfia Avzalova. I will listen to it with pleasure. Young people who love more sound and bass will listen to it in a new version”, the Mayor shared his impressions, noting the organization of the event, sound, light, costumes of performers, scenery, and the songs themselves.
