I. Metshin about the results of 2018

All the recent years have been filled with bright events for us. But still, 2018 was special! Of course, this is primarily due to the World Cup. For the first time, we won the right to hold it by the whole country, then prepared and held it. This is an unforgettable event, which will remain a golden page both in the history of our country and in the history of Kazan.

In addition to the championship, our city saw a lot of other events: bright air shows, the opening of the circus after reconstruction, new public spaces, the All-Russian festival “Good Wave”.

For each citizen, of course, it is important that we did directly in his district. Thus, a lot of work was done on the overhaul, construction of roads, yards, housing, and polyclinics. The opening of the metro station “Dubravnaya”, the completion of the improvement of the first stage of the Kaban Lake, the repaired CLC Lenin, the opening of the boulevard on Fuchik Street, the square “Belye Tsvety”, the Festivalny Boulevard, the square and the slope near the NCC “Kazan” are among other significant changes in the city.

In general, despite the fact that 2018 was difficult and tense at some points, it was filled with enormous positive emotions.
