Kazan students will inhabit village of Universiade-2013 on September, 1st

Kazan students take up residence in the first residential buildings of the village of Universiade-2013 to the beginning of the new academic year.

"By the City Day, by 1 September it is necessary to solve the problem of moving. This problem is very serious, but quite real, quite feasible," - said the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin today, February 8, on "Business Monday" in the city administration.

Students will occupy residential buildings of the first and second priority of objects of Village with a total area of 135 thousand in sq.m. Objects of the first priority are planned to put in operation already on June, 1st this year. Over the course of construction on the instructions of Ilsur Metshin is watching the head of district administration.

For the construction of residential buildings municipality plans to attract construction units consisting of students of those high schools, hostels of which in the future will occupy buildings of the 2013 Universiade Village.
 
At the same time must be resolved the question of recruitment of high-quality staff serving Village. Some questions - the organization of cleaning, security - may charge to specialized companies working with modern technologies.
 
"We must get away from old forms of work, from old women with a mop," - noted the Mayor of Kazan.
 
Ilsur Metshin stressed that the living conditions in the new hostels for the students will be radically different from the usual. In particular, each room in the residential buildings of the Village is equipped by a bathroom and air conditioning system.

For the successful organization of Kazan Village of Mayor of it Farit Abdulgani visited with a working trip the Olympic Village in St. Petersburg, built for the Olympics-80. Now students live there.
 
As noted Ilsur Metshin, this is the only such project in Russia. During his visit Farit Abdulgani acquainted with the system of service of the village and way of life of its inhabitants.
