On August 22-24, the eighth architectural and urban planning conference
“Dialogues”, organized by the City Hall, will take place in the courtyard of
the Kazan Kremlin. The main discussions will be focuses on art in city,
information technology, and artificial intelligence in design and spatial
planning. Ilsiyar Tukhvatullina, the chief architect of the city, informed
about this at the Business Monday meeting.
“You have managed to create a lively and creative mood at the Dialogues
and Kazanysh events. I am pleased to see that there is deep interest not only
from the architectural community and our masters, but also among young
architects and students. We are seeing more and more colleagues from Moscow and
other cities in our country. It is important for us to get a quick expert
opinion on all our initiatives and plans for the city,”- said Ilsur Metshin.
According to Ilsiyar Tukhvatullina, the conference will be opened by a
plenary discussion “Art in the City”, moderated by artist Alexander Ponomarev.
Creation of comfortable spaces for art and support for creative people will be
discussed, as well as improvements to make the city attractive for
self-realization of artists, sculptors, photographers and other creators.
Among the participants of the session are architect and designer Alexey
Kozyr, member of the Union of Architects, the Union of Designers and the Union
of Graphic Artists of Russia Totan Kuzembayev, expert on the development of
urban and natural areas Yulia Bychkova.
Another discussion will focus on the topic of artificial intelligence
and information technology in design and urban planning. Experts will discuss
how these technologies are bringing revolutionary changes and opening up new
possibilities for the development of cities and public spaces.
“Participants will have the opportunity to try creating a project using
a neural network. A master class will help them understand the process and
leave with the skills necessary for practical application of AI”- speaker
noted.
Professional photographers and enthusiasts of this art are invited to
showcase their talents in the upcoming open competition. This event will allow
to collect the best images of former industrial architecture. Only two days
remain until the deadline for submission of entries.
“Works created on mobile phones and cameras are accepted. The exhibition
will take place in the courtyard of the Kazan Kremlin, later to be displayed at
the gallery “Tochka” in St. Petersburg,”- said chief architect of Kazan.
In addition to the exhibition, participants can share their ideas for
the placement of sculptures, murals, and other artistic elements on a map. These proposals will be considered for future
implementation.
