Vladimir Zhavoronkov is appointed the head of the administration of the
Kirovsky and Moskovsky city districts. Previously, he headed the health
department of the city and served as Deputy Health Minister of Tatarstan. The
Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin introduced the new head of the administration to
the staff today.
“Since today, the Moskovsky and Kirovsky city districts will be headed
by a new head, Vladimir Zhavoronkov. Over the past 15 years, big changes have
taken place in the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts. Thanks to the Rais of
Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, and national projects, the implementation of
which has transformed the capital of Tatarstan. We have thoroughly chosen a
candidate, it is necessary to continue progressive development and keep the
pace. I am sure that a new, beautiful page of districts will be opened with the
new head,”- the Mayor said.
The Mayor noted that the former head of the districts, Damir Fattakhov,
introduced new approaches to the work, and Sergey Mironov continued his work.
After that, Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts set the tone and were among the
leaders in terms of construction and renovation of social infrastructure and
other areas, competing with other districts.
Ilsur Metshin reminded that Vladimir Zhavoronkov went from a specialist
to one of the key figures in the Republican Clinical Oncology Hospital and the
city health department.
“Vladimir Zhavoronkov worked with us in such difficult times as the
pandemic, when we had no experience of such work. He spoke confidently, calmly
and professionally about how we should solve this or that issue,”- Ilsur
Metshin noted.
