On the eve of the BRICS summit, Kazan will receive 100
new buses. Some of these buses have already been put into operation to replace
outdated ones, and today the new batch was inspected by the Rais (Head) of
Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin. These buses are
located at the Municipal Unitary Enterprise PATP-2. The advantages of these new
buses include their passenger capacity, long service life, and air
conditioning. By the end of this year, a total of 157 new buses will be delivered
to Kazan, and these buses will run on gas-powered fuel.

Albert Mukhametshin noted that the buses have a Euro-5
eco-class engine. They have 10 gas cylinders installed, and natural gas will be
used as motor fuel.

gas fuel. This not only reduces carbon dioxide emissions, but also reduces
overall costs by 40-60% compared to diesel fuel and gives high profitability», –
the Mayor said.
